West of Dingle

Although there is no such place really, this map shows the area we define as the West of Dingle.

With Dingle Town, ('An Daingean' on the welcome sign) forming the 'gateway' to our area. There is one main road for traffic which the tour coaches take in a clockwise direction. It follows the coast via Ventry, Dunquin, Ballyferriter, passes close to BallyDavid and then back to Dingle town. It is marked by brown signs labelled 'Slea Head Drive' along the road. Other roads shown are much smaller and link parts of the main route and are suitable for cycling and walking.
